cyber attack campaign: Mission 3/6

Mission 3: Code Breaker

  • Mission Name: Code Breaker

  • Location: Innovation Hub 13, Syntheia

  • Objective: Remove the malware by tricking the system into accepting Ultra Rapid as the override interface.

  • Mission Type: Decryption / Puzzle Solving

  • Mission Song & Duration: Andy C - Positions (~3-4 minutes)

  • Academic Visuals for Gaming: Prime Number Recognition (0-49), Factor Trees, Virus Removal Simulations

  • Key Characters: Seek, Yae

With the malware identified, Yae deploys a workaround—hiding the removal script inside Ultra Rapid itself. You must reach Innovation Hub 13, log in, and inject the code into the system. The mission consists of learning all prime numbers between 0-49 and using factor trees to extract primes from composite numbers, mimicking how decryption works in a real-world malware removal scenario. As you complete these challenges, Ultra Rapid inputs the corrected security keys into the terminal, gradually overriding the corrupted systems. The success of this mission determines whether Syntheia can regain partial control over its infrastructure.

Note: This demo mission is 1 of 5 missions in the Cyber Attack Campaign. The Cyber Attack Campaign is 1 of 6 Campaigns in pilot series called, Leviathan-SS3 (Maths Series).

ACADEMIC SYLLABUS INTREGRATION

  • Storytelling

The Cyber Attack campaign draws the real-world connection and importance of prime numbers and cyber security, specifically cryptography and RSA-encryption.

  • Mnemonics

We use the image of a deer head to support a visual representation of prime numbers being at the base of factor trees, with the antlers as the branches which only go upwards.

  • MNEMONICS

We present the Sieve of Eratosthenes (SOE), but primarily use the presentation of all primes from 1-49 flying into the SOE chart to encode the numbers with a musical riff.

  • RHYTHM GAME

The Ultra-Beat game focusses on building factor trees, creating more familiarity and increasing the level of interaction with this visual aspect of the syllabus.
